Are you looking for a space or venue for your event? Our building has 4000m2 and we are ready to help you organize the event you desire. We regularly host events of all sorts, starting from birthday parties, gigs and concerts, school trips, weddings, going to cultural exhibitions and conferences.

As a cultural center we organize all sorts of events and happenings ranging from regular Karaoke Nights over big gigs with local/international artists to movie nights and ping pong tournaments. We often serve as a meeting point between the local community and travelers from around the world.

Our Happy Clients!

Huge hostel, with a large equipped kitchen, large common areas and very clean. Inside there are a small bar, ping pong table and other games...we were a group so we had so much fun. We saw the sunset over the sea from the big window and the northern lights from the terrace, such a wonderful evening! Jirka was very kind and always present for us from our arrival to our departure. Fully recommended!!

We stayed here as a family of four adults and a kid. They were very kind to upgrade us to a larger room that was available on our dates! The room was really spacious and had a kitchenette. Do note that the toilets and bathrooms are shared. But this wasn't a big problem and also they are kept clean. I would recommend this to all budget travelers. It is 15 minutes away from Selfoss where you can find all the popular shops.

Who we are

Fisherinn is situated in the charming former fishing village of Stokkseyri, on Iceland’s south coast, just south of Selfoss. Fisherinn offers panoramic views, over the very colorful village of Stokkseyri, inland to Mount Hekla and Eyjafjallajökull volcanoes and southwards over the expansive North Atlantic Ocean.

The delightful seaside location of Fisherinn offers much tranquility, with an extensive sandy and rocky seashore, ideal for exploration and a leisurely stroll at any time of day. Fisherinn´s ocean view terrace (with BBQ facilities) is a particularly pleasant place to relax. Fisherinn is a perfect peaceful place in which to “re-charge”.
